The Children's Hospital of Michigan Foundation's mission is to support the healthcare needs of children by raising philanthropic support for:
- Pediatric patient care
- Medical education
- Pediatric focused research and prevention of childhood
diseases and injuries
- Child advocacy efforts
The Foundation is recognized as a 501(c) (3) charitable organization by the Internal Revenue Service and is governed by a 20-member board of directors.
Our goal is to make a significant and lasting, positive effect on children's health - both locally and around the world. We do this by working with experts at the Children's Hospital of Michigan to identify healthcare programs and initiatives that will have the greatest impact on improving the health of young people and families and by forming strategic partnerships with individuals, corporation and foundations in order to secure the necessary resources.

The Children's Hospital of Michigan Foundation was established to support the mission of the Children's
Hospital of Michigan which is to care for the needs of children. It is a well known fact that Children's is one of
the most highly regarded hospitals providing pediatric healthcare in the country. Its mission is pure - caring
for kids. There has been a national dialogue in our country for years addressing the urgency for all children to
receive proper healthcare. By supporting the Foundation, this dialogue becomes more meaningful and
sincere and ultimately makes a difference in the life of the child whose medical needs will be met.
The doctors, nurses and administrators at Children's are truly motivated - and motivating. Their commitment to providing the highest, most professional level of care to the children they serve should remain unencumbered. Raising or donating funds to support the work of these extraordinarily dedicated people is exceptionally rewarding.
